OVERVIEW

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are looking for English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for one of our global clients, a music streaming company with various important entertainment services such as music streaming, podcasts, etc. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.

Project Details:

Job Title: English into Arabic Morocco Creative UI and Marketing Senior Localization Specialist/Reviewer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote

Task Type: Translation, Copy Edit;

Estimated work volumes: 15 hours/week

MAIN DUTIES

• Translate and review content from English into Arabic Morocco with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support
• Use CAT tools: working with Smartling, Jira

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
• Proficient in all areas of expertise: marketing, product, legal, informational
• Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Arabic Morocco.
• Native fluency in the target language.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions, e.g., character restrictions.
• Ability to communicate effectively the rationale behind transcreation skills.
• Knowledge of UI, CS, and creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of main tasks for this role:

• Linguistic tasks:
• Perform LQA reviews, adhering to quality guidelines and timelines.
• Handle arbitrations and drive linguistic consensus for optimal results.
• Update glossaries and TMs within Smartling, following guidelines.
• Handle client review feedback and implement changes.
• Process linguistic feedback from QA testing and adjust accordingly.
• Provide linguistic and cultural consultation as needed.
• Quality Management tasks:
• Collaborate with lead translators and teams to improve language quality.
• Discuss linguistic matters with client stakeholders and provide consultation.
• Maintain reference materials and meeting notes.
• Address linguistic queries and monitor language quality performance.
• Work on root cause analyses and quality improvement plans.
• Assess and suggest asset improvements considering impact and effort.
• Prioritize and track quality management tasks based on urgency and impact.
