Job summary

Southeastern Computer Consultants, Inc. (SCCI) seeks an XR/VR developer for a federal contract requiring active security clearance. The role demands U.S. citizenship and an Active Secret Clearance with a BS or hands-on XR/VR experience.

1–2 years in Unity/Unreal and C#/C/C++, plus knowledge of asset creation is expected. Git workflows familiarity preferred. Location is Dahlgren, VA with on-site work requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance.
• BS degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or XR/VR field, or direct hands-on XR/VR development experience, or military background relevant to XR/VR development.
• 1–2 years experience with Unity or Unreal game engine and C#, C++ or C, plus knowledge of game engine asset creation.
• Familiarity with Git workflows.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Degree or related experience:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to XR/VR development, or
  • Direct hands‑on experience with Extended Reality/Virtual Reality (XR/VR) development or
  • A military background with relevancy to XR/VR development
• One (1) - two (2) years of experience with Unity or Unreal game engine and C#, C++ or C, and knowledge or experience in game engine asset creation
• Familiarity with Git workflows
