Job summary

TaskUs is seeking a Virtual Reality Data Collection Operator to work in controlled lab and staged residential environments. You will wear and operate prototype AR/VR devices, execute scripted activities, and perform real-time quality checks to ensure data integrity.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, strong communication, and the capacity to adapt to evolving technical requirements across multiple sites in the metro area.

Qualifications

• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable navigating software interfaces and AR/VR hardware.
• Detail-oriented: Follow explicit technical instructions with high accuracy.
• Active engagement: Stand, move, and wear equipment for up to 8 hours.
• Physical stamina: Lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and commute to multiple site locations.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Wear and operate prototype AR/VR headsets and motion capture hardware.
• Execute tasks and scripted activities in labs and staged residences.
• Follow step-by-step guidelines to ensure data consistency.
• Assist with kit staging, battery management, and equipment transport.
• Maintain site security, NDAs, and safety training.
