Rockmart Fuel Containment seeks an AR&T Engineer to design and develop new materials and manufacturing processes, lead trials, and optimize cost and quality. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver robust solutions for elastomers and textiles.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in mechanical/industrial/aerospace engineering, and strong data analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills. U.S. Persons required.

The AR&T Engineer provides expertise in designing and developing materials and processes for existing and new products and acts as a lead to provide expertise on a variety of complex issues. The position also has a direct impact on all aspects of safety, quality, cost, delivery, and innovation and growth. Must be U.S. Persons.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
• 5+ years of experience in preferred in mechanical, industrial or other aerospace related engineering.
  Excellent knowledge of applied mathematics.
• Demonstrated understanding of materials and processes.
• Excellent ability to apply a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to explain a range of complex technical information.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve problems.
• Ability to research and analyze data effectively.
• Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.

• Oversees all phases of materials and process engineering, including design, equipment selection and procurement, managing vendors, and running trials for new processes and equipment.
• Provides innovative chemical/material engineering solutions to support business development activities. Continuously evaluates opportunities for design and development improvements.
