Edgewood Properties Inc. seeks an Accounts Receivable professional for our multi-family portfolio. The role involves ensuring accurate accounting records and maximizing collections across ~6,000+ units, with expectations to scale as the portfolio grows.

You will work from our corporate office in Piscataway, NJ. The position requires 2+ years in general accounting with AR knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Competenze

• Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping and general accounting.
• Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with property management/real estate accounting preferred.
• Detail oriented with accuracy and urgency.

Mansioni

• Process checks, cash, and credit card payments according to procedures.
• Analyze resident ledgers for accuracy and adjust as needed.
• Handle NSF postings and communicate with property sites.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries.
• Review AR reports for delinquencies and prepayments.
• Assist with collections and month-end closing.
• Post rents and late fees for all properties in portfolio each month.
• Coordinate with site managers on eviction notices and follow-up.
