Job summary

Fire Protection Services, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Atlanta. The role focuses on high-volume outbound collections, ensuring timely payments and accurate AR records.

You will contact customers by phone and email, resolve payment issues, post payments, and collaborate with Sales and Operations to resolve billing questions. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• Experience in accounts receivable or collections is a plus.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating about overdue balances.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to customers regarding balances.
• Proactively follow up with customers by phone and email on past-due accounts.
• Obtain payment commitments and follow through to ensure commitments are met.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts and reduce outstanding AR.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment roadblocks.
