ALS Services USA, Corp is seeking an AR Specialist I for a 1st shift with a hybrid schedule in Houston. The role focuses on timely accounts receivable processing and cash applications within the Oils & Lubricants business stream.

You will support day-to-day AR activities, including payments, invoicing, and liaison with clients, while contributing to month-end close and collections processes. A strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years accounts receivable experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Operate main line phones and manage inbound inquiries.
• Process high-volume credit card payments accurately.
• Maintain customer portals and invoicing records.
• Enter orders for specific customers and reconcile debtor accounts.
• Follow up on invoice queries and liaise with clients.
• Assist with month-end procedures and collections tasks.
• Reconcile monthly reports and ensure timely cash application.

About the role

We are seeking a full-time AR Specialist I who will be responsible for assisting with the timely completion of the daily accounts receivable functions within our Oils & Lubricants business stream.

About you

• Operate main line phones.
• Process high volume credit card payments.
• Maintain Customer Portals.
• Create Customer Invoice Summaries.
• Enter Orders for Specific Customers.
• Follow up invoice queries.
• Liaise with clients.
• Reconcile monthly reports and debtor accounts.
• Answer all debtor inquiries professionally.
• Assist with month-end procedures.
• Responsible for collections for the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years accounts receivable experience preferred.

Core Competencies

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prepare Credit Account Applications for approval.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changes in organizational structure and software.

Physical Demands

Must be able to work on a computer while sitting for up to 8 hours per day. Perform housekeeping duties as required.
