ALS is seeking an AR Specialist I for a 1st shift with a hybrid schedule. The role supports Oils & Lubricants AR functions, including invoicing, payments, and month-end processes.

You will work on customer portals, reconcile debtor accounts, and respond to inquiries to ensure timely cash flow. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years AR experience and strong communication, with a high school diploma; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years accounts receivable experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with timely completion of daily AR functions.
• Process customer payments and reconcile accounts.
• Maintain and update customer portals and invoices.
• Liaise with clients to resolve invoice questions and ensure timely collections.

About the role:

We are seeking a full-time AR Specialist I who will be responsible for assisting with the timely completion of the daily accounts receivable functions within our Oils & Lubricants business stream.

About you:

• Operate main line phones.
• Process high volume credit card payments.
• Maintain Customer Portals.
• Create Customer Invoice Summaries.
• Enter Orders for Specific Customers.
• Follow up invoice queries.
• Liaise with clients.
• Reconcile monthly reports and debtor accounts.
• Answer all debtor inquiries professionally.
• Assist with month-end procedures.
• Responsible for collections for the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years accounts recievable experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to work on a computer while sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.

Core Competencies:

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prepare Credit Account Applications for approval.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changes in organizational structure and software.
