Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking an Accounts Receivable Optimization Analyst to identify drivers of AR underperformance across Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial payers. You will diagnose root causes in aging, follow-up productivity, and payment behavior, then implement and sustain improvement plans with operational leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in hospital accounts receivable, collections, or revenue cycle analytics.
• Proven ability to lead AR improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with AR aging, days-in-AR, and cash forecasting knowledge.
• Ability to interpret payer remittances and denial patterns.
• Proficient with BI tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Segment AR inventory and prioritize follow-up on high-value accounts.

• Design dashboards and metrics for AR aging, resolution rate, and cash acceleration.
