Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join Lens Studio and Lens Engine on the Lens Platform. You will design and build features across AR experiences, improve development tooling, and contribute to architectural decisions with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science or equivalent; 6+ years post-bachelor’s software development
• Experience with C++ and modern C++ development
• Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex
• Experience with multi-agent systems and agentic workflows
• Experience with 3D engines and cross-platform desktop tooling

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Lens Engine and Lens Studio features
• Build, integrate, and improve agentic development workflows and tooling
• Contribute to roadmap planning, architecture decisions, and specifications
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product, design, and engineering
• Improve code quality, reliability, performance, and developer productivity
