Job summary
Snap Inc is seeking a C++ Software Engineer to join the Specs Lens Platform team. Design, develop, and support LensCore features powering Specs, Snapchat Lenses, and Lens Studio.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize LensCore for AR experiences, and participate in planning, specifications, and integration with 3D rendering tools.
Candidates should have strong CS fundamentals, 2+ years in C++, and experience with rendering APIs or a 3D engine, plus collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of industry C++ development experience.
- Experience with rendering APIs or a 3D engine.
- Experience with computer vision, sensors, or machine learning.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support LensCore features for Specs, Snapchat Lenses and Lens Studio.
- Optimize LensCore engine for Specs AR experiences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver features to Lens creators.
- Participate in feature planning and create technical specifications.
