Job summary

Reed Smith LLP seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Client Relations professional to proactively analyze client AR profiles and monetize outstanding invoices. You will liaise with attorneys and clients, monitor payment trends, and provide actionable insights to management.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and independent work, with responsibilities spanning monthly statements, collaboration across offices, and optimization of the bill-to-cash process.

• Proficient typing and computer skills; MS Office; knowledge of ARCS and 3E Billing System a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with firm clients to facilitate timely payments and identify challenges.
• Follow up with clients and document actions in ARCS; determine next steps for overdue accounts.
• Enter and maintain accurate ARCS notes for all AR positions.
• Provide status updates to attorneys and business units regarding accounts receivable.
• Process, review, and mail client statements monthly.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve bill-to-cash challenges.
• Coordinate with eBilling websites to review invoice status and flag issues.
• Support practice groups with timely updates and documentation for collections.
• Meet regularly with management to discuss at-risk accounts.
• Collaborate with Revenue Coordinators in international offices on strategies for monetizing AR balances.
• Other duties in Finance may be assigned.
