Grady Memorial Hospital Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivables (A/R) Representative to assist in review and resolution of hospital claims under supervision of the Patient Financial Services Supervisor.

The role requires knowledge of CPT/ICD-9/HCPCS, EOBs, and various payer requirements, with strong Excel/Word skills and experience in hospital billing processes. A 2-year college degree is required, and familiarity with Epic is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS, revenue codes and hospital billing terminology.
• Working knowledge of OCE and CCI edits.
• Job-related experience in health care revenue cycle.
• Epic experience and Medicare/Medicaid regulations knowledge.
• Billing background preferred.

Aufgaben

• Monitor work queues for claim errors, DNBs and rejections and perform timely submission.
• Understand EOB/remits and respond to vendor requests.
• Post, balance, and reconcile patient accounts in the billing system.
• Post payments and denials, perform month-end reconciliation support.
• Identify payer denial or underpayment trends and report to supervisor.
