Job summary

Private-Search is seeking an AR/AP Specialist to manage day-to-day receivables and payables in a manufacturing and distribution environment in Colton, California.

You will focus on collecting from big-box retailers, resolving deductions and chargebacks, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records while supporting general ledger close. The role requires 3–5 years of experience with ERP and Excel and collaboration with sales, operations and finance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of AP and/or AR experience with big box retailers.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable collections for big-box retailers.
• Handle accounts payable processing and vendor invoice approvals.
• Prepare and submit customer invoices; monitor portal submissions.
• Reconcile AR/AP subledgers to the general ledger and assist close tasks.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and finance to resolve billing issues.
