Job summary

Sur-Seal in Cincinnati is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to oversee AR/AP cycles, drive cash-flow objectives, supervise staff, and partner across departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational excellence.

The role requires 5+ years in AR/AP or accounting with supervisory experience; ERP experience (Epicor) is a plus, and strong analytical/communication skills are essential. On-site in Cincinnati with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive AR/AP or accounting experience with supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems; Epicor experience a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong cross-functional relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR: invoicing, credit issuance, and cash application; monitor aging.
• Oversee AP: invoice intake, validation, coding, and approval routing.
• Manage weekly payment cycles (checks, ACH, wire, purchasing cards).
• Ensure three-way-match and policy compliance; audit-ready documentation.
• Coach, evaluate performance, and develop AR/AP staff.
• Collaborate with Controller, CFO, and auditors; support month-end close.
