The position entails general accounting, financial analysis, month-end close, reporting, and collaboration with the CFO, AP, and AR teams. After onboarding, there may be one remote day per week.

Qualifications

• Must have strong GAAP knowledge and accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; able to perform financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, variance analysis, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with leadership potential and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting functions, including financial analysis.

We are seeking an experienced AR, AP / Bookkeeper to support our accounting operations and contribute to the company’s continued growth. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership, expand your skill set, and grow within the organization.

This is a fully onsite position, with the potential for one remote day per week after the onboarding period.

Position Summary

• Perform general accounting functions, including financial analysis
• Evaluate and improve financial controls and projections
• Work independently with limited supervision and take ownership of responsibilities
• Assist with daily, monthly, and annual reporting, along with special projects
• Support purchasing and inventory processes as needed
• Report directly to the CFO
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
• Reconcile various accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and accounting skills with knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience using QuickBooks Online
• 4 or more years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Ability to assist with month end close processes
• Experience with variance analysis and general ledger accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self starter with leadership potential
• Experience with E automate is a plus
• Experience with leasing or contract accounting is a plus
