Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant (Contract) in Arlington, VA for a 6-month engagement with potential conversion. The role focuses on AR operations, reconciliation, and billing accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full cycle accounts receivable experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including SUMIFS and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliations.
• Business-related degree preferred.
• Non-Profit or membership experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to reconcile accounts efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Process all bank deposits and post revenue in the ERP.
• Manage and reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Post cash receipts and allocate payments; handle unapplied items.
• Conduct collections professionally and keep records up to date.
• Support month-end close and aging analysis.
• Prepare invoicing, credit memos, and adjustments.
