Six Flags St. Louis is seeking a qualified Aquatics Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Aquatics Department, uphold safety, service, and cleanliness, and guide a team through trainings and scheduling.

You will coach staff, perform program audits, manage guest concerns, monitor budgets, and act as Duty Manager when needed. The role requires an instructor license and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather.

• Must obtain Lifeguard Instructor license.

Supervise the daily operation of the Aquatics Department by maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Leadership schedules, In-service trainings, and department trainings.
• Internal auditing of programs and procedures.
• Assist with Guest concerns and questions.
• Monitor operating expense budgets.
• Coordinate employee relations activities.
• Review incident reports.
• Serve as the Aquatics Duty Manager in the absence of the Aquatics Full-Time Supervisor, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
• Provide an environment that motivates and encourages staff retention.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by Full-Time Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 18
• Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Typical weekly schedule includes at least 5 shifts. Must have availability during pre-season training as well.
• Must obtain, and maintain a Lifeguard Instructor license. This includes passing all applicable certification tests.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills

• Prior experience at an aquatics facility is preferred.
• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
