The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division, at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Chicago, is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator to support the Aquatics Manager and oversee daily operations and programming. This role requires supervising pool staff, ensuring safety, and coordinating with the Events Team for external rentals.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and two years in Aquatics Management with a team of at least 15, plus current safety certifications.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in Aquatics Management with a staff of at least 15.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License within 3 months of hire.
• Current certificates: Red Cross First Aid, CPR Pro, Lifeguard Training, CPO, LGI, WSI.
• Must be Safe from Harm certified within 30 days; must become CPO, LGI, and WSI within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Aquatics Manager/Assistants with day-to-day aquatic operations.
• Supervise pool personnel during shifts and ensure safety standards.
• Plan and facilitate external group rentals with Events Team.
• Maintain compliance with SA policies and Kroc Center guidelines.
• Develop and implement staff development plans and aquatic programming.
• Monitor inventory and perform regular maintenance of pools and equipment.
