Exos in Rochester, NY seeks an experienced Assistant Manager, Aquatics to lead our aquatics programs, ensure safety, efficiency, and exceptional service for members. You will help manage staff, coordinate schedules, and enhance operations.

The role requires at least 2 years in aquatics with supervisory experience, current Red Cross certifications, strong communication, and attention to detail. A passion for delivering excellent customer service is essential.

Competenze

At least 2 years in aquatics, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of teaching progressions for both children and adults.
Current Red Cross certifications (AED, CPR, First Aid, Coaches Water Safety, Lifeguard Instructor).
Superior communication skills with diverse populations.
High attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Enthusiastic, responsible, and team-oriented with a passion for customer service.

Mansioni

Recruit, interview, hire, train, and supervise Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, and Aquatics Service Desk Staff.
Conduct orientation, ongoing training, and performance reviews.
Develop and maintain staff schedules, including events coverage.
Support Aquatics Desk staff with administrative processes and customer service.
Communicate schedule changes, pool temperatures, and other key information to members and staff.
Address member issues and improve overall member satisfaction.
Ensure efficiency of aquatics programs and propose improvements.
Perform other duties to support operations.
