Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to lead our fast-paced aquatic program at the Humble club. You will help members improve swimming in indoor and outdoor pools, and you will train and manage Aquatics Department Team Members while delivering outstanding guest service and keeping facilities clean and orderly.

You will ensure safe programming, respond to member inquiries, promote Life Time swim programs, and help maintain the highest standards for programming and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses when hired
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience:

• 6 months of customer service experience
• 1 year coaching and/or swim instructor experience
• 1 year of lifeguarding experience
• 6 months of head guard or supervising experience

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:

• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college or working towards a 4 year degree
