Job summary

Life Time, a premier wellness and recreation company, seeks an Aquatics Manager to lead the aquatic department and drive growth across programs including lessons, swim teams, and masters. You will hire, train, and supervise lifeguards, instructors, and coaches while maintaining safety and cleanliness of facilities.

The role emphasizes budget responsibility, member experience, and coaching staff across a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to advance to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service, coaching/instruction, lifeguarding, and supervisory experience.
• Ability to swim 300 yards and tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and move about the club for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports all Aquatics Team Members.
• Completes daily inspections to ensure pool area is clean and safe.
• Facilitates lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques.
• Assesses performance, provides feedback, and coaches Aquatics Team Members.
• Manages the aquatics department within the budget guidelines.
• Formulates, monitors and reconciles the budget and financial reports for aquatics programs.
• Sets the standard for the Aquatics Department by providing exceptional customer service and meeting the Members' needs and expectations.
