Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Manager in Parsippany, NJ to lead the department, oversee operations, and drive growth of aquatic programs including lessons, teams, and masters.

The role includes hiring, training, supervising lifeguards, coaches and instructors, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of facilities. The position emphasizes delivering exceptional member experiences, managing budgets, and fostering team development.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership of Aquatics team and budget adherence.
• Must have customer service experience and ability to supervise lifeguards, instructors, and coaches.
• Must be able to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping and tread water for 1 minute.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support all Aquatics Team Members.
• Perform daily pool area inspections for cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Aquatics staff.
• Manage budget and financial reports for aquatics programs.
• Maintain exceptional member service and meet member expectations.
