Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead the Aquatics department, manage the budget, hire and train staff, and deliver exceptional member service across swim programs, lessons, and lifeguard operations.

The role requires 2 years of customer service, coaching/instruction, lifeguarding, and supervisory experience, with required Lifeguard certifications and the ability to swim 300 yards/meters. Growth into regional leadership is possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service, coaching/instruction, lifeguarding, and supervisory experience.
• Must be able to swim 300 yards/meters and tread water; lift up to 20 lbs.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, First Aid certifications required (or bridged).
• Successful Life Time Swim Certification and Aquatics Manager Training completion.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports all Aquatics team members.
• Performs daily inspections to keep pool area clean and safe.
• Facilitates lifeguard training on safety and rescue techniques.
• Evaluates performance, provides feedback and coaching.
• Manages department budget and financial reporting for aquatics programs.
• Sets high service standards to meet members' needs and expectations.
