Job summary

Springville Clyde Recreation Center seeks a full-time Aquatics Manager to oversee daily operations of the center's pools and aquatic programs under the Parks & Recreation Director. Qualifications

• Must hold current CPR for adults, children, and infants.
• Must hold current First Aid certification.
• Lifeguard certification required (Instructor or Instructor Trainer preferred).
• WSI certification preferred (Instructor or Instructor Trainer).
• PPO, CPO, or AFO certification required.
• AED certification (or obtain within 12 months of hire).
• At least two years of pool experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to develop staffing schedules and manage accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of Springville Clyde Recreation Center Aquatics.
• Hires, trains, and supervises staff; develops work schedules.
• Monitors health, safety, emergency response, and first aid procedures.
• Ensures facility is safe, clean, and compliant with regulations.
• Coordinates with schools, swim teams, and programs; manages permits and rentals.
• Maintains personnel records and conducts staff evaluations.
• Handles daily cash accounting and program records.
