Job summary

Adventureland Park in Iowa is seeking an Aquatics Senior Supervisor to oversee Lifeguards and park operations, ensuring safety and exceptional guest experiences. You will lead by example, coach a large team, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with industry standards and Iowa laws.

Qualifications

2–3 years in Rides or Aquatics required.
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.
Ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus.
Must keep certification current and comply with DOSH policies.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of park operations and assigned departments.
Lead by example and uphold Adventureland Park's core values.
Inspire operators by creating a positive, energetic atmosphere prioritizing safety and guest satisfaction.
Mentor Lifeguards and provide coaching.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
Backfill essential park operations positions when needed.
Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities.
Address guest feedback and coordinate with managers to resolve issues.
Respond calmly to emergencies and maintain professional conduct.
