Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking an Assistant Aquatic Manager to support the Aquatic Manager in overseeing in-water operations, ensuring safety and high-quality lessons. The role requires building strong relationships with the Aquatic Manager, General Manager and staff while upholding our core values and behaviors.

Responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, staff training and evaluations, maintaining pool and equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interviews and training per Aquatic Manager's instructions
• Conduct positive staff evaluations and co-teaching
• Communicate schedule changes to management team
• Maintain online training and Water Safety Instructor tools
• Assist in staff evaluations and coaching
• Plan and support monthly in-services and meetings
• Assist in pool maintenance and safety procedures
• Ensure alignment with Aqua-Tots curriculum and standards
• Develop future swim instructors and leaders
• Assist Aquatic Manager during absences to ensure coverage
