Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Masters Swim Team Coach to guide adult members in our state-of-the-art pools, indoors and out. You will write and lead Masters Group Workouts, and register new Masters participants for the group.

You will help maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities while supporting meets and promoting Life Time products and programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of coaching experience.
• Member of US Masters.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications must be completed within 60 days.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Masters Swim Team Coach, you will work in a fast-paced environment and will help our adult members improve their swimming in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. A typical day for Masters Swim Coach could include writing and leading Masters Group Workouts and registering new Masters participants for the group. You will help to maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

• Runs the daily operations of the masters swim team
• Provides adult swimmers the opportunity to master technique
• Establishes training programs to assist adult swimmers to achieve their goals
• Attends and supports swimmers at meets
• Understands Life Time products and programs

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of coaching experience
• Member of US Masters
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED certified (completed within 60 days)
• First Aid certified (completed within 60 days)
• Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20lbs

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Masters Coach Certification Level 1 & 2

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.25 and pays up to $21.75, based on experience and qualifications.
