The Role:

The Aquatics Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the aquatics program and managing customer interactions. Key responsibilities include ensuring program delivery aligns with brand and safety standards, managing instructor teams, conducting training, handling customer communications, and teaching lessons when necessary. The role also involves maintaining instructor certifications and supporting ongoing employee development.

Your Typical Responsibilities:
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and manage staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Create and manage employee and pool lesson schedules
  • Handle and document incidents involving employees, customers, or the pool
  • Teach swimming lessons as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 1 year of customer service and/or management experience
  • Experience in swimming and fitness instruction or management (preferred)
  • Certifications such as Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid (may be obtained during training)
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
