Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Two years of experience in aquatic facility maintenance.
Current Colorado driver’s license.
CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Pool Operator (CPO) or NRPA Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) certificate required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Oversees mechanical and chemical operations for Arvada Aquatics Center, Apex Center Pools, and Splashpad.
Performs maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on pool equipment.
Maintains inventory and orders supplies and parts as needed.
Preseason preparation, daily operation, and winterizing of outdoor pools.
Trains aquatic management staff in maintenance, chemical safety, and hazardous materials handling.
Documents maintenance records and reports and supports capital improvements.
