Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety-minded and customer service-oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment overseeing state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and outdoor. Your responsibilities include monitoring the pool deck, maintaining safety around water slides, and assisting with aquatics events such as "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza".

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Greet and interact with Members
2. Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid
3. Ensure swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
4. Keep the pool area clean and orderly to ensure Member safety

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• Lifeguard and First Aid Certified
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods
• Effective communication skills to assist guests with inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Tread water for 1 minute
• Swim and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and bring it to the surface without stopping
• Ability to bend routinely to lift more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
