Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools, monitor the deck, and ensure safety on water slides. You will assist with aquatics events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role requires safety-minded, customer-service oriented individuals who can swim 300 yards, tread water for 1 minute, and hold or bridge StarGuard Elite Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
