Qualifications

• PROVISIONAL EXCEPTION: May be hired before certifications if enrolled in a Lifeguard course within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Keep continuous pool and aquatic area scanning.
• Enforce safety rules and YMCA safety policies.
• Perform equipment checks and ensure availability of needed gear.
• Respond to emergencies per YMCA procedures and complete required reports.
• Maintain records as required by YMCA and Health Department.
