Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to ensure safety around state-of-the-art pools, indoor and outdoor. You will monitor the pool deck, manage water slide safety, and assist with aquatics events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role emphasizes safety-mindedness and a strong customer service orientation as you greet members and respond to inquiries about Life Time products and services. This is a hands-on position requiring physical activity and teamwork.

Formación

• Safety minded and customer service oriented.
• Able to rescue swimmers and administer first aid.
• Must meet StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Able to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Able to tread water for 1 minute.
• Able to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim it to the top.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
