Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Humble, TX, is looking for an Aquatics Lifeguard who prioritizes safety and customer service as you monitor indoor and outdoor pools, assist with events like Dive in Movies, and help maintain a welcoming, secure aquatic environment.

You will greet members, perform rescues and first aid as needed, enforce safety rules, and keep the pool area clean. Certification in StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid is required or achievable within one year.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs
• 6 months of customer service experience

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & "Poolapalooza."
