Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help supervise indoor and outdoor pools, monitor the deck, and ensure member safety. You will assist with events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza, greeting members and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualified candidates will be working toward a HS diploma or GED, hold StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certifications, and demonstrate strong communication with guests while performing water rescues and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid Certifications (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Able to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Swim 300 yards/meters without stopping and tread water for 1 minute.
• Swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom and bring it to the surface.
• Able to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as \"Dive in Movies\" & \" Poolapalooza.\"

• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED


• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1 st year, whichever is first)


• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time


• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services


• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping


• Ability to tread water for 1 minute


• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping


• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
