Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools at our Fort Washington club. You will be safety minded, customer service oriented, and assist with events like Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role requires working toward a high school diploma or GED, StarGuard Elite Lifeguard certification with BLS CPR and First Aid, strong swimming skills (300 yards), tread water, and the ability to lift and move objects. You will greet members and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Working toward a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certified.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs.

Job description

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as "Dive in Movies" & "Poolapalooza."

Preferred Requirements
