Kings Dominion, a Six Flags Park in Doswell, Virginia, is seeking Aquatics Lifeguards for the WaterWorks area. This summer role offers 35 hours weekly, a welcoming international team, and the chance to gain lifesaving skills while enjoying a vibrant park environment.

As a lifeguard you’ll monitor pools and rides, perform rescues, test water quality and greet guests with a friendly, professional attitude. Training is provided and a summer-long adventure awaits.

Qualifications

• University students aged 18–25 on the Work & Travel USA program.
• Conversational English and good communication skills.
• Strong swimming ability; pass swim test.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and team-player mindset.

Responsabilités

As an Aquatics Lifeguard at Kings Dominion, a Six Flags Park in Doswell, Virginia, you won't just have a summer job – you'll have the most exciting office in the USA: the award-winning WaterWorks water park, spread across 20 acres of slides, wave pools and lazy rivers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitoring assigned pools, slides, wave pools and lazy rivers to keep guests safe

What We're Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 on the Work & Travel USA program
• Strong swimming ability – you must pass a swim test (swim 100+ meters, tread water, retrieve an object from the pool bottom)
• Conversational English and good communication skills
• Responsible, alert and calm under pressure – safety comes first
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, sunny weather
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and a team-player mindset
• No previous experience required – full training provided!
