Job summary

Kings Dominion, a Six Flags Park in Doswell, Virginia, is seeking Aquatics Lifeguards for the WaterWorks area. This summer role offers 35 hours weekly, a welcoming international team, and the chance to gain lifesaving skills while enjoying a vibrant park environment.

As a lifeguard you’ll monitor pools and rides, perform rescues, test water quality and greet guests with a friendly, professional attitude. Training is provided and a summer-long adventure awaits.

Qualifications

• University students aged 18–25 on the Work & Travel USA program.
• Conversational English and good communication skills.
• Strong swimming ability; pass swim test.
• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring pools, slides, wave pools and lazy rivers to keep guests safe.
• Enforcing water park rules in a friendly, confident and professional way.
• Performing water rescues, first aid and CPR when needed.
• Testing water quality and helping maintain a clean, safe aquatics area.
• Greeting and assisting guests with a smile – you're the face of the park.
• Attending regular in-service training sessions to keep your skills sharp.
