Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools, monitor safety on the pool deck, and assist with aquatic events. You will greet members, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, safe swimming area.

The role requires lifesaving certifications, the ability to swim and tread water, and physical stamina for prolonged periods. This on-site position offers a dynamic work environment at Life Time facilities.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuardElite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will help to oversee state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoor and out. You will monitor the pool deck and maintain safety on water slides. You will help with aquatics events, such as “Dive in Movies” & “Poolapalooza.”

Position Requirements

Preferred Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience
