Job summary

Life Time is seeking an Aquatics Manager in Scottsdale to lead the aquatics department, drive program growth, manage budgets, and supervise lifeguards, instructors, and coaches. The role emphasizes safety, staff development, and exceptional member service within a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee program delivery for lessons, swim team, and masters, while ensuring pool facilities meet Life Time standards. Growth into regional leadership is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of coaching and/or swim instruction experience.
• 2 years of lifeguarding experience.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports all Aquatics Team Members
• Completes daily inspections to ensure pool area is clean and safe
• Facilitates lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques
• Assesses performance, provides feedback, and coaches Aquatics Team Members
• Manages the aquatics department within the budget guidelines
• Formulates, monitors and reconciles the budget and financial reports for aquatics programs
• Sets the standard for the Aquatics Department by providing exceptional customer service
