Job summary

The YMCA of the Inland Northwest is seeking a Lead Lifeguard for the North Branch in Spokane, WA. This part-time role supports daily aquatics operations, oversees lifeguard staff, and ensures safe, engaging experiences for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current lifeguard, CPR/AED, first aid, bloodborne pathogens, and oxygen administration certifications.
• Six months of related aquatic programming experience.
• Knowledge of customer service and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff behavior and coach lifeguard skills.
• Supervise lifeguards during emergencies and document incidents.
