Aquatics Manager/Lead

British Swim School of Greater Anaheim seeks an Aquatics Lead to create a fun yet professional environment, providing our customers and their children with excellent learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults, including special needs/adaptive aquatics.
• Manage swim instructors at multiple pool locations on varied days and hours.
• Engage with parents on deck, articulating student progress and areas for improvement.
• Provide initial training in the BSS swim method and ongoing development of all swim teachers.
• Use BSS Instructor assessment and development tools/checklists to maintain lesson quality.
• Evaluate swim instructor performance and create performance improvement plans as needed.
• Offer guidance and support when managing difficult class situations.
• Handle some phone calls; bilingual skills are helpful.
• Report to the Aquatics Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Great personality with a desire to work with kids in a fun environment while teaching survival skills.
• Experience working with children and a passion for water safety and survival.
• At least one year of experience leading a team.
• Experience setting and maintaining standards for a service business—especially if child‑related.
• Bilingual (preferred).
