Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to lead the aquatic team across indoor and outdoor pools. You will focus on safety, training, and outstanding customer service while maintaining clean and orderly facilities.

You will coach staff, respond to member inquiries, and ensure high-quality programming for lap and recreational swimming, helping members achieve their goals in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Years of Experience

• 6 months of customer service experience
• 1 year coaching and/or swim instructor experience
• 1 year of lifeguarding experience
• 6 months of head guard or supervising experience

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.

Preferred Qualifications

Some college or working towards a 4 year degree
