Job summary

The City of Tucson is seeking a Pools Supervisor to oversee daily operations of city pools, splash pads, and aquatic facilities. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, manage water quality, and coordinate programs and rentals while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain required certifications. This is a non-exempt, full-time role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience in aquatics or related field.
• Equivalency may substitute education and experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred certifications and supervisory experience in aquatic settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily aquatic facility operations and staff scheduling.
• Ensures safety, water quality, and compliance with health standards.
• Plans, monitors, and evaluates aquatics programs and events.
• Manages certifications, training, and staff development.
• Maintains records and reports on operations and safety.
