Bachelor’s Graduate or Equivalent
Experiencein fitness, retail,recreation managementor hospitality industries
Experiencesupervising and managing preferred
Experience providing high-end member service and managing member concerns
Exhibit strong leadership skills; possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence
Upon hire, you’ll be required to pursue American Red Cross Lifeguard certification as well as YMCA swim lesson instructor certification
Understand overall branch revenue and program goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliverdepartmentgoals, membership goals and member engagement

Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (this includes early morning, evening, and weekends)
Ensure the swimming facility is meeting or exceeding the Aquatic Safety Standards
Facilitate monthly in-service meetings that include skill review.
Supervise staff and ensure appropriate staffing of pool. Coordinate breaks and rotate staff.Ensure program quality and monitor staff performance and member service
Develop high-quality aquatics programs, including swim lessons and water fitness, that meet the community's needs
Ensure safety and prevent injuries by supervising the pool area. Ensure no distraction or interference with the ability to hear or see signs of distress
