Job summary

The YMCA of Middle TN in Brentwood, TN is hiring an Aquatics Coordinator (Full-time) to lead our aquatic programming, build a strong team, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all. You will plan and oversee all aquatic programs, hire and train staff, manage pool operations and testing, and foster member relationships to deliver an exceptional experience.

Required: high school diploma (preferred), 1,000+ hours aquatic experience, 2 years teaching, strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1,000+ hours of aquatic experience, including 2 years of teaching aquatic programs.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with pool operations (Certified Pool Operator certification preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all aquatic programs.
• Hire, train, and motivate aquatics staff.
• Manage pool operations, including chemical testing and maintenance.
• Build relationships with members and ensure an exceptional experience.
