Job Summary:

This position will oversee all aspects of the Aquatics Program for a designated Genesis location, including hiring, recruiting, scheduling, and training new aquatic staff. Responsibilities include managing lifeguards, aerobics classes, swimming lessons, pool maintenance, and continuously developing the aquatic department's success.

Position Details:

• Title: Aquatic Coordinator
• Reports to: Aquatics Director

Responsibilities:

• Execute procedures as outlined by the Aquatics Director
• Train instructors for safe and effective classes
• Motivate and retain members through instructor training
• Organize and schedule group classes
• Maintain equipment and pool areas
• Prepare weekly aquatic reports
• Promote classes and events internally and externally
• Perform duties as required for group instructors
• Attend staff and club meetings
• Build professional relationships with members and staff
• Complete documentation promptly
• Respond quickly to emergency situations
