Labette Health's Rehab Services department is seeking a qualified lifeguard to support aquatic therapy sessions and fitness classes. You will help ensure the health, welfare and safety of patients, members and staff using the pools.

Responsibilities include observing pool users, enforcing regulations, guarding lives, and preventing accidents. You may clean pools, monitor pool chemicals, and work with pool chemicals.

Competenze

• Must possess ability to recognize hazardous situations and communicate with the public.
• High school diploma preferred; current Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification; current First Aid and Basic Life Support skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team under supervision and follow instructions.

Mansioni

• Ensure health, welfare and safety of patients, members and staff using the swimming pools during aquatic therapy and aquatic fitness classes.
• Observe pool users, enforce regulations, guard lives and prevent accidents.
• May be required to clean pools and pool area, monitor pool chemicals and work with pool chemicals.
