Triangle Pond Management is seeking a full-time Aquatics Specialist to join our team across North Carolina. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and want to contribute to maintaining healthy aquatic systems.

If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to make an impact. As part of our field operations, you will follow a maintenance route using a company vehicle, inspect stormwater devices, apply herbicides for invasive vegetation control, and remove aquatic plants

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and ability to travel between job sites in a company vehicle.
• Comfortable working independently in an outdoor environment.
• 1–2 years proven experience preferred.
• Experience in lake and pond management, pest control, or herbicide application preferred.
• Environmental study preferred in Fisheries, Wildlife Management, Conservation, Natural Resources, or Environmental Science.
• Ability to swim and work around water.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate math skills for calculating product applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a maintenance route using a company vehicle.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AQUATIC SPECIALIST

This is a full-time maintenance position, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays.

As our Aquatic Specialist, you'll manage a maintenance route using a company vehicle, inspect stormwater devices, apply herbicides to control invasive vegetation, remove aquatic plants by hand, and clear debris to keep systems functioning properly. Your work ensures compliance and protects local waterways.
